omg or possibly ffs

Ok, i know ive been dragging this out somewhat but the store is almost done, well to be honest it is ready but im just trying to sort out a nagging problem that the 'fantastic' paypal cart is causing me. Im waiting on a response from their techies in regards my quite likely stupid question so with any luck i may even be able to get it live by the end of the week. Heres a peek at the landing page- as you can see its a pretty simple design that should hopefully feel like it ties the main site and the blog together. Thanks to all of you out there who have been linking mostlywanted up for the recent work update, my web traffic has seen a pretty steep rise in visitors over the last few weeks, so thanks.

Mostlywanted updated

Just a quick note to say that i have finally got mostlywanted updated with the new work ive been plugging away with, the old work in book three has been resigned to the archives and some of the other works from the other 2 books have also been removed. Hopefully the trimmed down portfolios feel a little less heavy, theres also the inclusion of a new showcase section which i have used to pull out some of the works from the portfolios and use it to give a shorter overview of the different books. Anyway, enough rambling, go have a look if you have a few mins to spare!

Another new pic

Heres another new image from the soon to be updated book 3 on the mostlywanted main site as mentioned in the previous post. This one is being used in a full tutorial in the 2nd edition of 'fashion illustration' by Lawrence King Publishers, written by Bethan Morris (thanks beth!). I have added a couple of close up shots but youll need to pick up a copy of the book when it hits the stores to be able to see the full tutorial.

As you may have noticed theres a very definite graphic feel to these new illustrations, i have tried to off set the harshness by using quite a bit of texture and wash, it seems to have been more successful in some images than others but at least i now have a few with which to build the folio on.

Im also in the process of sketching up a new painting that will end up in book 2- the more fine arty stuff- if you want to name the style! That should hopefully get posted up here soon. Thats all for now.
